Why did you choose to submit a FIRST@CIRSE abstract?
Korenblik: CIRSE is an association focussing on research and education in interventional radiology. Within the DRAGON trials collaborative, we are investigating the new procedure, simultaneously performed portal and hepatic vein embolisation (PVE/HVE). Since this is a new IR procedure, CIRSE is one of the best platforms to present our research and connect with other researchers in our field.
Are there any special considerations to take into account when submitting this type of abstract?
No, not that I know of. The submission platform is really user friendly and straightforward. You get updates about your submission via email and it is easy to get in contact with someone from CIRSE who can help you.
How did you find the submission process?
The portal is user friendly and the process is straightforward.
Do you have any tips for physicians considering submitting an abstract?
The best tip is: do not hesitate to submit, it easy, the submission process is not much work and it’s very worthwhile to come and present at CIRSE.
Will you submit an abstract for CIRSE 2023 as well?
Definitely. If I am not able to attend in 2023, one of my colleagues will submit and hopefully present at CIRSE.
