Information about the CIRSE Annual Congress

The European Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CIRSE) will host its 40th annual congress from September 14 to 18 in Lisbon, Portugal. This year’s theme, “Patient centered – science driven,” encapsulates the importance of evidence-based practices while putting patients at the forefront of decision-making.

CIRSE 2024 will be a must-attend event for all healthcare professionals providing minimally invasive image-guided treatments. The programme consists of a multifaceted range of topics, from deep-dive days on arterial and venous issues to FIRST@CIRSE sessions that offer the latest research results in IR, and the two-day symposium IDEAS, which focuses on the multidisciplinary approach to aortic treatments.

The CIRSE Annual Congress will offer a wide range of hands-on training sessions, allowing delegates to learn from experienced professionals how to use the tools and materials employed in daily practice and advance their technical skills.
