CIRSE will be hosting its first intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) case competition at CIRSE 2023. The goal of this initiative is to support the next generation of leaders in medicine by giving them a platform to share their clinical knowledge, network with mentors and industry partners, and inspire future medical professionals with their successful case studies.
Next Generation IVUS Case Competition
Who can apply?
All medical residents, fellows, and recently graduated physicians (within their first five years of practice), both in Europe and overseas.
Case competition
All interested parties are invited to submit their successful IVUS cases (in PowerPoint format) by May 15. The top four candidates chosen by a reviewing board will receive free registration and a travel grant to present their cases at CIRSE 2023.
The travel grant will cover
- CIRSE 2023 registration fee
- Travel support (up to EUR 1,375)
The best presentation will be chosen at the congress by the audience and the CIRSE judges. Multiple submissions per person are allowed, but an individual cannot present more than one case.
The application deadline for the Next Generation IVUS case competition is now closed. CIRSE warmly thanks all applicants!
Candidates selected to present their case reports at CIRSE 2023 shall receive a confirmation by June 15.
