CIRSE 2024 will feature a plethora of opportunities to gain hands-on experience with the latest tools and devices.
Hands-on training
The Hands-on Device Training (HDT) sessions aim to provide an overview of the various devices available for a specific procedure while at the same time providing hands-on experience to participants. Safe sedation workshops will give participants the opportunity to perform procedural sedation (PSA) in a simulated environment under expert guidance. In the IDEAS practical course series, aortic topics will be covered and will provide participants with the opportunity to experience a more hands-on learning approach.
The simulation training sessions allow delegates to follow demonstrations of interventional techniques and practice certain procedures under the guidance of an expert instructor and/or simulator technician. Additionally, the GI-Lab sessions will familiarize attendees with the devices used for common GI procedures.
