Global IR Summit

CIRSE and SIR are organising the fourth edition of the Global IR Summit on the occasion of CIRSE 2025 in Barcelona, bringing together the leadership of national and regional IR societies worldwide in an interactive session. The Global IR Summit will be co-moderated by Philippe L. Pereira, Robert Morgan, Robert Lookstein and Sanjeeva Kalva, and include presentations from and discussions with societies around the globe.
This year’s summit will address the challenges and opportunities related to the Visibility of IR and the level of awareness by medical students, radiology trainees, other clinical disciplines, healthcare providers and politicians. The session will further try to define concrete steps for future action.
CIRSE and SIR are grateful for the participation of the following societies, which will present the current state of IR visibility and awareness in their country or region, and give best practice examples: APSCVIR, CAIR, CCI, IRSA, ISVIR, JSIR, KSIR, PAIRS, SAFIRE, SIDI, SOBRICE. In addition, SOBRICE will be presenting the International Interventional Radiology Day.
