Boosting IR’s Visibility Among Medical Students
This year’s theme, “Boosting IR’s visibility among medical students”, focuses on one of the IR’s key challenges today: how to inspire and engage the next generation of interventional radiologists, to ensure our discipline keeps thriving in the future. The session will provide a platform for society leaders to explore the challenges and opportunities involved in increasing awareness of IR among medical students. Discussions will examine the current level of IR visibility and representation within undergraduate medical education, while highlighting successful strategies, outreach programmes, and practical initiatives that have proven effective in promoting IR as a career path.
CIRSE and SIR are grateful for the participation of all societies that will present the current state of IR visibility and awareness in their country or region, and share best practice examples: APSCVIR, CAIR, CCI, IRSA, ISVIR, JSIR, KSIR, PAIRS, SAFIRE, SIDI, SOBRICE.
