Abstract submission
Submitting your abstract to CIRSE will enable you to share your work at the world’s most comprehensive IR meeting.

The deadline for CIRSE 2026 abstract submission is March 12, 2026 (23:59 CET).
Notifications regarding acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts will be available by mid-May. All presenting authors of oral and poster presentations are expected to register for and attend CIRSE 2026. Poster presenters need to complete and pay their registration by August 17, otherwise the poster will be withdrawn from the CIRSE 2026 programme. Costs associated with the submission and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter.

Description
Describes a clinical trial with a prospective study design. The final data set has to be presented for the first time at CIRSE 2026 (meta-analysis and systematic reviews are not eligible).

Trial design and methodology
Description

Maximum recognition for your work!
Abstracts that are accepted and subsequently presented orally or via a poster onsite at the congress will be published in a supplement of CVIR*, the longest standing publication in interventional radiology. All presenters must have a complete congress registration.
Not applicable for Amazing interventions and IVUS cases.
