Dining in Lisbon

After an engaging day delving into all things interventional radiology at CIRSE 2024, be sure to experience Lisbon’s vibrant culinary scene. Whether you’re looking for classic Portuguese dishes, international fare, or something else, the city caters to every preference. We spoke with the CIRSE Local Host Committee members to find out what restaurants to not miss while you are in the City of Seven Hills.

There were two restaurants that were so popular that three members of the local host committee recommended them. First up, Dr. Maria Sousa, Dr. Paulo Vilares Morgado, and Dr. Pedro Lopes recommended the restaurant seafood Solar dos Presuntos. Dr. Paulo Vilares Morgado adds, “The restaurant is known for its lobster and prawn rice.” Another popular seafood restaurant is Cervejaria Ramiro, recommended by Dr. Jose Saraiva, Dr. Paulo Vilares Morgado, and Dr. Pedro Lopes. Dr. Jose Saraiva says about the place, “Craving some delicious seafood? This it the place to be. When you’re done with your Sapateira ask for a Prego as a ‘dessert’ (trust me, you won’t be the only one).”
