CIRSE journals
The CIRSE journals booth will offer instant feedback sessions with editors, giving participants the opportunity to discuss their work and receive direct guidance from journal experts, as well any other journal-related questions. Stop by the booth to connect with the journals team, learn more about how you can get involved, and explore the latest research from the CIRSE journal portfolio.
European School of Interventional Radiology (ESIR)
The ESIR booth at CIRSE 2026 will have plenty of activities in celebration of ESIR’s 20th anniversary. This year, a special focus will be placed on paediatric interventions through the Paeds in Practice workshop series. Attendees will have the chance to refine their practical skills, explore new techniques, and engage directly with expert faculty. Vascular Access in Children – The Essentials

Arterial Interventions in Kids – What’s Different?

Join a dedicated workshop for radiographers and nurses as well as the IASIOS Accreditation Workshop to get practical insights about IASIOS accreditation journey.
Be sure to also visit the IASIOS booth on the congress floor. If you are working on your application to become an IASIOS Accredited Centre or Centre of Excellence, you will have the chance to ask questions and receive immediate, personalized feedback on your application.

Professional Education and Certification
The CIRSE Professional Education and Certification team will offer a range of on-site activities designed to support participants at every stage of their professional development.
EBIR examination Q&A
Two EBIR examination Q&A sessions will take place in the professional education lounge, located on the ground floor at F C03. The first session will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6 from 12:30–13:00, followed by a second session on Monday, September 7 from 14:00–14:30. These sessions will be a great opportunity to find out what to expect from the EBIR examination, gain practical tips and strategies for preparing, and have your questions answered directly by a recent successful EBIR candidate and the EBIR educationalist.
Professional education challenge
Congress attendees are warmly invited to swing by the professional education lounge to take part in the professional education challenge for a chance to win a 2027 All-Access Pass and spin the CIRSE Academy wheel for the opportunity to win CIRSE Academy courses.
EBIR Quiz
Visit the Professional Education Lounge and test your knowledge with a quiz featuring real EBIR examination questions. Experience the format and level of the EBIR exam, assess your knowledge, and if you achieve a perfect score, you’ll have the chance to win a prize.
