Since its launch in 2014, the Radiation Protection Pavilion (RPP) has played a key role in raising awareness of the importance of radiation protection for both patients and healthcare professionals. Located in a dedicated area of the exhibition, the RPP combines educational sessions led by clinicians and industry experts with a showcase of the latest radiation safety equipment and technologies. Over the years, it has become an integral part of the programme, providing a unique platform for learning, discussion, and collaboration in radiation safety.
Organized by the CIRSE Radiation Protection Subcommittee, the RPP at CIRSE 2026 will be under the slogan P2P – Plan to protect and will once again serve as the congress hub for radiation safety, education, and innovation. With over a dozen faculty members contributing to the programme, it will bring together leading experts from across the field to share practical knowledge, discuss emerging challenges, and highlight the latest developments in radiation safety.
The programme will feature expert-led talks on radiation protection, presentations from industry partners, an interactive roundtable discussion, a morbidity and mortality (M&M) session, and a radiation safety quiz.
