Rolf W. Günther Foundation Travel Grants

The Rolf W. Günther Foundation for Radiological Sciences sponsors the attendance of the CIRSE Annual Meeting and Postgraduate Course for ten young European radiologists, with €500 going to each successful applicant.

European residents or fellows in diagnostic and interventional radiology are invited to apply for the travel grant to attend CIRSE 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 5-9.

Eligibility requirements

1. The applicant should be a radiology resident/fellow from Europe,
2. under the age of 35, and
3. presenting author of a paper or poster accepted for presentation at CIRSE 2026.
4. The grant of €500 is to be used to cover travel expenses and housing.

Applications must include

1. The completed online application form (available here)
2. A supporting letter of recommendation from the applicant’s head of department

Application period

Start: end of May (after notification of acceptance/rejection of abstracts)
Deadline: June 18, 2026

Successful candidates will be selected by an expert jury.
